A sourdough boule lit by a single warm light against deep darkness
A night bakery · Fern Street

Baked in the dark, gone by noon.

One woman, one oven, and only what the night can hold.

How it started

"Store bread made my husband sick. I got stubborn about it."

One loaf became four, four became a Saturday table. Everything's made the night before you eat it — if it's on the shelf Saturday, it came out of the oven Friday night.

Four loaves a week or forty. I'd rather sell out than pile up.
